What TO EXPECT IN YOUR SESSION
An initial consultation is 45 minutes and follow ups are 30 minutes. A thorough initial assessment will be done to help identify an underlying cause and this will be discussed fully with you. Possible treatment options will be discussed and progressed to treatment within the session. You will be provided with a clear plan and instruction to help move forward in your rehabilitation which may involve home based programs and frequency of follow ups as well as onward referral if necessary.
Some of the treatment options provided in your session as appropriate are below:
- Exercise Programs, both gym based, and home based.
- Rehabilitation Pilates
- Soft tissue and myofascial release
- Sports Taping
- Ergonomic analysis and advice
- Post operative protocol rehabilitation
Therapists may request scans and diagnostic tests, e.g. X-rays, MRI scans.
A close working relationship with leading Orthopaedic surgeons, Rheumatologists and Pain Specialists is paramount, and however complex your problem we work to help you manage it successfully and refer on when needed to an appropriate specialist.
